Over the years people have asked me how early to start their children with music lessons. For piano, age four or five is ideal. Because guitar requires more physical coordination, I usually don't teach children under the age of six. In this instance I decided to break my rule to give my daughter a head start. This video was taken about 3 months before her fifth birthday. We began doing guitar on a regular basis in the fall of 2009.
"My goal with teaching is to inspire a lifelong love of learning and to instill the discipline that will serve young people throughout their lives. If you want the best musical education for your child, call me today."

Impassioned
The song "Impassioned was the first piece I composed after the completion of the Album "Songs For My Funeral". I had originally planned on making this track the first one on the upcoming CD but after writing all of the music I decided that this one was better suited as a single. I recorded the first track a couple weeks ago at my house, and was so happy with the sound of the guitar that I decided to release it "as is" with no edits. A couple of days before that I had recorded the song on my back porch so I thought that would be fun for you to hear. When in the presence of nature I feel very much at peace and this was my attempt to convey that to you...
